Remind me again why NOT? $2-$5 isn't a whole hell of a lot of dough, if you get my meaning. And thats just so you settle your dues for equipment fund loans...

Bluesabre, I'm looking at YOU. You owe us for conttibuting funds to FM3. (And I owe you for busting a prop or two...)

we culd be using that money for buying props or saving up for a good qualtity camera (ie 16mm or 35mm =D) plus, money is only payed to professional actors... and honestly, the acting that you or anyone has done for our is groups is... (may i say) less than professional...
As in... it sucks...

Oh and as for Richie... he voluntarly made that decision... not to mention that it was his own project.
As of so far, we've been able to keep up to par with Hollywood. What i mean is, the producers finance their own project.
Richie- Fight Movies Richie and Me- CoCd Eric- AWITP and Visions Me- Leviathan
No one has payed a cent for anyone elses projects. So far...

Actually, I'm the one who paid for the FM3 guns.
Now, I don't generally credit producers if I don't have to- if any real funding went into the movie, fine. While it's true that I brought in the money for the FM3 guns, Richie is the one who actually bought them. Same with the FMII swords. In our case, I'll generally give the "producer" credit to the person who goes out, rakes in the money, and buys the stuff.
I did buy some things for "Visions" (the videotapes), but I'm not giving myself a producer credit- I have enough in the film credited towards myself. (cinematography, editing, writing, directing... I might give myself a production design credit- I find a production designer credit far more meaningful than a producer credit)
I do want to shoot Super 8mm (or 16mm, but I think the chances are higher of me shooting 8mm (I already have a camera, and 16mm camera are pricey)), but not until I get enough experience.
Back to "Customer"...

I like the fact that there was a plot and Eric used an incident involving me in the story even though I am not in the film. I glad that the series stopped before it could get stale. A ton of TV shows just keeping going on and on with the same stuff over and over again. Yes, I want more but only make more when you have fresh stuff!

Actually, it hasn't stopped- there just hasn't been anything new filmed for a while. This series runs on its own little set of rules, and one is that filming sessions for segments aren't pre-planned, and are instead filmed using spare time from other filming sessions (which was the entire purpose of creating this- I figured I could find a more productive way to spend that 30 minutes of spare time we sometimes have at the end of filming sessions).
Don't worry, I have ideas enough for at least four more segments.

Should I write one? It doesn't have to be violent, and I could use this to excersise my attempted talent at random humor.

Fine, but the script will be subject to my approval. If I don't like it, it won't get filmed (and it can't be used in a pre-planned filming session). I am also not re-using the same cast members for multiple roles here- in this series, it's one role per actor.

Okay, I'm considering this as my summer project- film a whole bunch of segments and conclude this damn thing. I am phasing out the "rule" of "no pre-planned filming (spare time only)", as it never really worked. This is a failed experiment, but I'm still going to have this thing finished.
Writers, you may contribute, but do remember the limitations involved: One cast member per character, and don't scream for something requiring high and elaborate production techniques.

Hmm. How about a scene after the customer leaves the bar? Who are the skate punks? What is their motive? (Well, we know THAT, they are pissed at the customer for getting one of them run over by a car. Would the gang be headed up by Patty or Monica, perhaps?)

Haha, I had one gang planned in segments I've already thought up, though we could deal with the gang of skate punks as well- though it would be a hell of a search for actors!
Just write a short script up that can be filmed swiftly and follows the plot given by the first 3 segments we have there. This is a project that I've been and always will be loose with, though if I don't like the script, we won't use it (for "Customer", anyway).
