Sorry. I overwrote a segment with Skywalker and Yuki heading into Andrew's house. Not very necessary in my opinion, but it lets in more detail on HOW Thomas and Clarence con people. PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR MY SINS!!!

Chances are, I'll just sift through it and analyse the DVD alongside to do an almost exact re-edit. The image quality of the DVD isn't exactly top-notch. (effects-related things, like the opening and closing titles, I'll just take from the DVD itself, and just sift through the MiniDV source until the appropriate takes are found; the point is, to remain as close to the original as possible and delivering a new, higher-quality master of the film (as well as re-positioning titles so as not to be cut off by TV overscan, having the music play in both speakers instead of just the left))
I'm still requesting all surviving copies of the film- there are two parts that skip on the copy of the DVD I have on me (now in "DMI Archives", where I store all the source and master tapes (which is the top-right cabinet of my desk)), and I want to see if the other copies have those scenes intact. As much MiniDV as possible, and whatever isn't there, I'll just use the DVD.
And I did expect overwritten footage; it seems that everybody does it. Just give anything and everything with CoC material on it, and I'll sift thru that.

My DVD CoCd didn't skip ever, and Skywalker requested it, so he has it for the time being.

It still skips twice, no matter how much I clean it.

Never skipped on my X-BOX, nor my DVD players in both computers and the DVD player in the back room- but the front room DVD player won't even regognise it as a DVD- it thinks its a flippin CD. Consider this, Eric: Your DVD player sucks. Just. Fing. Sucks. Think about it... IT SUCKS AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Well, looks like every DVD player out there that doesn't belong to you sucks. Or maybe the DVD was mishandled along the way.

Well, I got three of the tapes, which are full of raw footage to the last inch. Editing the first scene right now, and I've got to say the image quality is miles ahead of that DVD copy. I'll post comparisons online once I get through with the first scene of the film.

Comparisons done. deadmooseinc.tripod.com/id3.htmlI tried to get as close a font as possible to the original titles- due to the fact that the editing programs were different (I'm using Premiere 6.5 while this was originally edited with a trial version of Premiere Pro 1.5), the spacing is different. The placing of them I tried to get as close as possible as well. If you (Aniket) do not like the white subtitles, I can change them to whatever colour you please. The black outline was inserted to make the subtitles more legible.

Nope, couldn't do that. Hence, why there are still subtitles.

Okay, Quicktime is too big no matter what settings I use. (while still delivering decent quality ("decent" in this case meaning where I won't say "Screw this, RealPlayer offers the same crappy quality with less space.")) Hence, rendering as a Windows Media file.
I was able to restore all but one scene- the first one in the clubhouse. (discussing how the con went and cutting something out for the scrapbook) There is a 15-second notice at the beginning of the film about this.
The opening logos and the end credits remain unchanged.

okay, the movie is now on the net. It is in .wmv format. So you need Windows to view it. Also, it has its own website. codeconduct.tripod.comenjoy!

I can tell you made that in five minutes. What clued me in the most? The Pictures. They are from some of the least inspiring shots of the film. You could have included my "disgusting" close-up!
