Either way, I tried writing a script for it, but it just became a stream of conciousness thing. Either way, the movie will let me make comments about video games that would be hilarious: "How was that game?" "It's original, but seriously- Sneaking around in a jumpsuit with a silenced pistol is not that fun. At least give me an AR near the beginning of the game instead of five levels in!"

Allright. I realize that this idea is not my best idea in the whole world... But GIMMIE A BREAK! I've been storyboarding, and yet you folks want a SCRIPT! Writer's block grows on trees, not time! Either way, is this a good idea or no?

um, personally, i dont think that this film will end up well
a film surrounding video games will only result badly, in my opinion
find another idea, one that could include more plot

okay, after reading some of your edits (not realizing that there had been any), i think you would be better off writing a short story or novel on this rather than a script
its a good idea, but similar to what judy said, I think that this would be better s a novel/story, and should not be a movie

I'll try to write a script, because there is NO way anyone would publish a book written by me...

you wouldnt need to publish it
just put it online, and ppl will stumble across it no matter what
they may even reccomend it to others
just make sure to copyright it first

I dunno. Like I said, I will attempt to write a proper script, perhaps this weekend or the next.

Been working up this script. I have recieved advice from trusted sources to make the plot more interesting. They say that watching somebody play games is just flat out BOREING. I had an extensive plot twist already planned, and a somewhat open ending, but the plot could use some work, yes.

Yes, whatever you do, don't do the same thing I did with "Visions"- avoid being self-referential as much as possible, and yes, do NOT show the person playing video games constantly- use those kinds of scenes as little as possible.
...and a plot twist, no matter how good, cannot save a bad script. The effort should be placed on the script as a whole (so as you said, the plot could use some work).

Okay. The idea has been officially changed. This idea will be fabricated with a bit. I mean, Eric likely did that with Visions, but I am aiming to provide the viewer with an understanding of the main characters confusion- Events in his life will begin to spin out of control and he can't stop it. Peer pressure will be involved- but not the conventional "ooh, you MUST abuse Ritalin!" thing that Hollywood does too often. The peer pressure and the plot twist go hand in hand, and I have two endings planned- one a happy ending, and one sad. I haven't decided which to use yet.

Nah, I'll film both endings, and then use the one that happens in real life.
