Fast fact: Shot during Oktoberfest. Somehow, our second movie became our most acclaimed. (At least I think it was the most acclaimed.)

Damn right it was the most acclaimed.
That and "Weight Lifting"!

We should start having more fake blood in our films. This film is the only film we have that uses fake blood (soon to be joined by AWITP and LFMITU) Life. A crude substitute for video games.

Fake blood when appropriate.
I'm still scratching my head at how this turned out to be our best film so far. I mean, logically, shouldn't FMU have been the best? Although this film does have the most quotable lines, the best special effects, and best cinematography. It works perfectly fine without music. And the sound is acceptable.

The moviegoer's club are working by their definition on what they think makes a good movie.
But as you can see, that's like taking business advice from Enron.

Very true. I did political comics with refrences to Enron and Al Gore, but that's ancient history. The moviegoers club has absolutly positively no shitty idea what the hell they are doing. (I know, that sounded awkward, but, as Eric says, I can't slip through the F-word.)

How about "no damn idea"... or maybe just "no idea"?
In their defence, they had quite a decent entry in the film festival- "If I Don't Remember". On the other hand, their other film, "Seeing is Believing", sucked.
Now, back to "Fight Movie II".

Alright. No damn idea. Thats fine by me. Now, where was I? Anyway, this film shoot was (in my opinion) the hardest because we had people walking through our shot. OMFG... Can people like this EVER get a clue? I never walk in front of a camera. It's disrespectful. Respect is somthing you owe EVERYBODY, not just certain amatur filmmakers... If people would ever learn stuff like this, then our film shoots would be a LOT more productive. (I know it sounds funny coming outta my mouth, but it's the truth. It had to be said, and I was the first person to note this. As I said on the FMAP board: Everything went to hell when I jumped on the wagon...)

(Without you the ending battle at FM 3 wouldn't have been the same. Well, it might have been, but it wouldn't have gone as smoothly.)
I'm burned that FM II is still the best. Come on, sure it's fun to watch and colorful, but there's no dialogue! It is well...a Fight Movie. It's exactly what we wanted. So why can't we improve upon it? (And let's keep it to Fight Movie for the purpose of the topic.)

M'kay. Hopefully LFM will get to this level, because aside from "Country Road," this film is our best franchise at it's best level of complexity: A straightfoward fight with funny dialog and an anti-climactic throughfare (because Evan TOTALLY trounced us black warriors.)

Admittedly fights would have had more than one move if we had more time. Let's pretend we had a perfect world scenario. Under the same budget as the current film what would we have done to improve it?

Yeah, I learned right away that I should have liquidized the non-dairy creamer before mixing in with the red-colored Karo syrup (...though I don't think the video would have been sharp enough to tell anyway).
Ah yes, of course. Better fake blood.
...if only I had liquid red food coloring, that isn't as sticky as that Karo syrup mixture (that's actually used in plenty of low-budget gore flicks, including Sam Raimi's "The Evil Dead" (Bruce Campbell's autobiography, discussing the shooting of that film, is where I got the recipe from)).

I would have gotten tin alloy swords that make the real clang sound. Supposedly they're safe, but they're safe in comparison to real swords and shouldn't be used by amateurs. (It says that all over the websites that sell them.) The tin swords are surprisingly cheap, they could have been bought at the same price as those awful plastic swords. I also would have made everyone where black gloves to make sword fighting a little less painful.
The turn around for this project is unbelieveable. How could our long-time best be a one day project?
