i so want to see that movie, but ur right, the uk get all the good, funny movies. our government is too worried about "political correctness" that they're afraid to do anything but prevent anything else.

Sean, if you want to see robinhood, men in tights, do so. There's an odd plot, but the seeker arrow, the ending with the whole story about Mr. Hood trying to get lady whatsherface. And who can forget "Spaceballs" the best movie ever. "They've gone to plaid...."

A good laugh all around. Canned air, gaint vacuum lady... Mel Brooks thinks of everything.

"It's vaccu-maid! She's switched from suck to blow!"
...ah, classic stuff... I mean forget the F-word in the movie, I REALLY don't see how that movie got off with a PG rating (and yes, PG-13 existed when that was made) with lines like THAT!
A new DVD came out for "Spaceballs", so for those of you who don't have it yet, there's a newer, better edition out for ya'lls to get.

Yup, "Airplane" and the cocaine lady... yet another classic moment.
Anyone seen some of Brooks' lesser-known films? Such as his Hitchc, ock (it previously said "Hitchchicken" due to the curse filter; any of you try to slip curse words through using marks in between, though, and I'll edit them (I'm being lenient here- I'm allowing you to say words like "shit", what more could you possibly want?)) spoof "High Anxiety"? Absolutely hilarious- there was a DVD that was supposed to be released in March, but Fox delayed it indefinitely. Argh.
Like all directors, though, Brooks has a low point in his career, and that low point so happens to be "Life Stinks". Not that it's a terrible film, just that it isn't that funny. It contains some genuine Brooks moments, but it's like "Napoleon Dynamite"- it just doesn't have enough.

What other brooks films are there? I know of spaceballs, robinhood, world history, and I think blazing saddles.

Young Frankenstein, Silent Movie (another low point), Dracula: Dead and Loving It (the last film he ever directed, that is unless of course he's directing "Spaceballs: The Search for More Money"), and let's not forget his first film, The Producers, which would later evolve into the funniest musical ever.
