I voted just to create debate. It's merits are soley in the work put into making it. As a movie it's a two. As an effort it's a three.

Debate, mwahahahahah...
...if only people would register, then I could get REAL votes goin here! (from visitors, not just cast and crew)
As a rule, I myself don't vote on any of the films DMI or Nerd Network/Oleander Productions have created. That would be biased.
EDIT: So I lied. Okay, happy now?

My take-
Compared to the original concept Aniket had in mind, I'm sure everybody found this a disappointment. Even with Aniket, who had his vision turned completely inside-out by the limitations we had at the time.
A valuable lesson was learned here- if you have a big vision on something, don't do it until you have the resources you need. Don't dumb it down just because you want to get it over with.
In fact, to the point where a possible re-do is planned.
Aniket had an interesting concept with this- multi-aspect. As in, multiple aspect ratios. "I want it at widescreen at the fight scenes, but fullscreen at everything else."
I thought it was actually going to be like that, looking at the original script. But being the time schedules of the actors, we couldn't end it like that. (what I thought was going to happen was, fullscreen first 5 minutes, widescreen fight scene, and then fullscreen conclusion)
The fight scene doesn't really look like it was well-rehearsed. In fact, on the film, it actually looks like a rehearsal. Sorry, but this "acting slow-motion" bullshit doesn't really work. This needed more than one shooting date. However, the rain made it better.
Because fight scenes always get better when it rains.
In terms of the effort, ** but leaning towards ***.
However, as the film itself stands, all I can say is this-
It's better than "Fight Ultimatum".
** out of four. Richie pretty much stole the scene he was in. Best part of the whole movie, in my opinion.

Richie's little dance was good, but the end fight was great (minus the roll I really want to edit out... : 3/4 posted in animation, Fight ULT. and LFMITU. Life. A crude substitute for video games.

Reviewing it again it wasn't that bad. It all depends on the mindset with which you watch it. I want to do a sequel. Something that can be as good as it is intended to be. Not a remake. A sequel. A fresh start.

I'd like to re-do the first one; it can be better if it's done better. There's the material right there.
...and none of that watered-down, canned crap. (sorry, just had to put in the Clint Eastwood quote)

Fix the flaws of the original are obvious can be be remedied with our newfound experience. Talent can only go so far.
Flaw 1: The Script
Flaw 2: The Fight
Flaw 3: The "training" and "attacker" one-man-fights
Flaw 4: The ending
The Good Part: The opening sequence.

Well, probably because you got off-topic, or you still think you can get away with slipping through the F-word. Trademark or no trademark, it's my forum, my rules.

Anyway, I think richie's dance was great too, but the dialogue could use some improvement. (U should write this, Richie) CoCd was much better, even though it had less action, and thats so very sad because I TOLD you to let me coreograph the fight, and yet you didn't lisiten, as usual, so in the second one, let me draw for you, Skywalker. I would be happy to pre coureograph the fights for you. I could vastly improve the script over [they fight].

Kenny needs to learn how to spell choreograph.
I refuse to write the script. Aniket will write it at his leisure and can come to me for advice and counseling if he wishes.
