Resistance is futile] Apparently some people do look at the official movie websites- especially if you're a journalist and you just might have a list to write. It didn't take me long to see it wasn't what I expected (I didn't see my pick for "worst-executed gimmick of the year: red-band trailers"). The very last one is definitely interesting, on a film whose websites have been frustratingly un-helpful (considering all we really wanted to know was the friggin title)... and one website that I'm sure nobody but the LA Times journalists knew about. Personally, I'm wondering why the "Southland Tales" website is still under construction; it's in the same state that it was a year ago, except with a trailer up. What ever happened to "the most elaborate website ever designed for a movie?"
