An internet meme that flew right over me until Aniket pointed it out, I suffered through all 5 minutes of this crap. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTZ2xpQwpAIt is incredibly disastrous and some might argue that it needs to be seen to be believed. I never laughed once or even came close to laughing, and its repetitive nature ensured I wasn't anything but tortured. The singer has a great voice, but it's wasted on this. It's amazing what gets 5 million views on YouTube. It really is amazing. * out of four.

i'll give it a two not because of the monotonous singing but because i wouldn't have guessed that that kid would have a voice like that also the "wtf is he saying" factor it also gets stuck in your head easily

From the look of the kid as he's singing, it looks like he's forcing his voice to go that low. (Which is really bad for the voice, especially to do it for that long.) Anyways, I found it annoying, I found it wasn't catchy after the fiftieth time of him singing the words "Chocolate Rain". Some people learn by repition. I guess I'm not of them. * out of four. And that's a generous *.

youtube.com/watch?v=ZndB0zuLZ9UJohn Mayer covering Tad Zonday or whatever his name is. I'm not sure which is worse. Oh, and I also watched him on Jimmy Kennel Live (also on Youtube), and I'm still not convinced that his voice is naturally that low. The fact that, whenever he talks, he looks down. And the CNN bit really made me doubt it.

It can't be John Mayer. This guy actually sounds good and even makes the song appealing.
