This is the spin-off. Sorry if I flamed you, I was just pointing out the truth. Ok? Or what you think is the truth. That pathetic of a similarity is no reason to say I'm a ripper-offer. And no, you have no right to call me that or criticise me for it either, since you rip off things, too.

And just to settle this, our projects are different. I have not yet decided on a cinematic technique. You made the assumption each sketch would have a different style. I am considering this, however I am also considering many other styles.

Alright alright alright. I won't bother you about that awkward similarity again. (Good news: I may be able to join soon. )

After writing up mini-movie #3 for "Visions", I feel kind of good about this one again. Before, I only had a beginning and end, without being able to think of conversation topics (what I want to AVOID is Julian using the girl as a shrink, venting out all of his experiences on her for five minutes).
Reading over the rules I created for the film at the beginning of the topic, I still think they're a good idea, and do, indeed, fit the film. ...and yes, I still do intend to film the trailer for the film back-to-back with the film itself, exactly as originally scripted. If after a while I can't come up with a script for the main film that I'm satisfied with, I'll scrap the main film until then, and just film the trailer, releasing that.

OK. Looks good, Eric. The film, I mean...

Okay, now I REALLY want to do this film- not just the trailer, but the film itself. Thanks to Netflix, I've seen three more Danish Dogme (or Dogme-like) films, and have just fallen in love with the method, where I just feel like my next film HAS to be Dogme! (well... almost- Dogme was intended for feature-length use, not a new way of shooting short films- but the writer of those rules never intended them to be some sort of Holy Scriptures; in one documentary, he says that he LOVES breaking the rules when he needs to, that they're just a guideline)
I'll need to get another girl to play the role of Julia- someone who can improvise. In "Visions", I experimented with improvisation with the movie-within-a-movie sequences. However, to me, at plenty of points, it didn't feel like improvising a roughly-sketched scene- it was like a camera filming one of our own filming sessions. That is no fault of the actors- I blame it entirely on myself, as you were only doing what I asked you to do.
This time, I'll see if I can REALLY get a real framework on the discussions (plenty more has happened within the year since I came up with the concept, so I might have more possible topics), then find an improvisation-capable actress. After that, grab an external mike, find an available date to shoot for the three of us (me, the Julia actress, and the camera operator), and then, shoot!
Due to the little amount of post-production required, it should be released quite quickly after shooting, provided something doesn't go wrong with the tape or the sound.

But this comes AFTER "Inner Circle" and "Productivity," right?

Probably will. Even if not, though, this should only take one day to shoot.

I got an external microphone, which is one step closer to shooting this movie. Provided, of course, I can get a script done, and an actress. Or I'll just film it as a mock trailer.
(don't get any funny ideas with the mic- it's very fragile, and will only be used under my supervision. I've seen how some of you "care" for your technology, and I can't afford to risk it. Not unless you want to pay $219 in the event it gets damaged)

"^_^ Don't look at me like that, Eric.... You're scaring me... (Well, ANYTHING scares me after going through a month-long run of F.E.A.R.)
