So me and eric were talking and we think it's about time that we attempt an amateur full-lenth feature with a runtime from 90 to 120 minutes.
The film would be directed and produced by me, eric, and richie. Though we would loan the director chair to other people for a few scenes.
Reasons as to why this is possible: - Our acting base has grown substantially in the past year - We are no longer limited by technology
Now making a full length feature requires a lot of time and effort basically, in order to film this in the summer, we will need to start now w/ working out plot outlines. Then a LOT of time would go to making the scripts. Then the casting, location scouting, and other preproduction work. Then almost all of summer would go into filming. Think the length of the filming days of Visions, CoCd, and Leviathan combined... and you'd have a good estimate. The post production would be another hard work, however, the primary editors would be me and eric and we're both graduating and will have an extra month of summer.
So this is the plan at the moment. Plot has not been determined yet.

I'm going to De Anza for college, so I could continually work on the post-production here (not to mention I got a hard drive, and if we don't waste too much footage, it could fit a feature-length film or two).

As for a script I could attempt to write one, but I'll write it as a 30 min film and expand from there. A 30 min film is already a good medium to work with, with a lot of flexibility, but of course anyone who wishes for a big budget special effects fest is gonna have to get ILM cause we don't have that to work with. I'll try to write something good, that won't be as technically complex as ".DOS."

I'm currently in the process of writing my "Blackberry Hill" script (see the "Fantasy Projects" topic; a few adjustments [the focus is on three characters, and while I still plan for stylistic differences, they won't be as outrageous], and I plan to make it a reality), though I actually want to film that one this school year. Other than its cast, the film isn't too demanding- I just need actors whose schedules are easily adaptable (with proper organization and pre-planning, a whole block of scenes could be accomplished each weekend), and on top of that, actors who can actually act.
Yuki, Jessica and Judy I have under consideration for roles, but as I said, scheduling is everything (and I have more than three roles written- and so far, five small [but necessary] roles for adult actors)- and I still need to finish my script!
This is far from saying that I do not want to do the project Aniket has above- it would be nice to turn up more than one big movie, especially considering our recent downtime in productivity. Let's make this year good!

Good pun, Eric. Anyway, I have a sort of film noir detective script in the works, I am currently drafting the first iteration of the script. I will get it a writeboard when I have a complete draft.

Resumed writing "Blackberry Hill", which has been an on-and-off thing. I started a writeboard in October, and if I can't get a structure in mind, I'll just write down the plot points and invite people to collaborate on the screenplay.
