You know those lyrics that I "Copied off the internet *WINK*" which are a parody of "Every breath you take" by "the Police"?
I got a member of Dead Alcemist to take a look at it, he liked what he saw and might get the leader to look at it. If they perform it we can make a video and we might get the MV Constitutionalists to sponsor it.
Brandon asked me to upload it for him.
"They'll Be Watching You"
Pardoy of "Every Breath You Take" by "The Police" Note: it just goes to the slow beat of the song, the higher paced part of the beat is omitted to keep it from coming off with an angry tone.
Everything you say Almost every day Everything you do With almost anywho They'll be watching you
Your privacy In Jeopardy And just in case You're a terrorist You're on the no-fly list
Why can't they see? We're supposed to be free. But every tip you take Every call you make They'll be watching you
And it's a game Of cat and mouse With 3 microphones And 2 cameras Hidden in your house
On the Internet Everyone you met Looking for key words You're looking up "Birds" They'll be watching you
You do not like The government And that must mean That you're building bombs In your basement
And now you're stuck In Guantanamo A prisoner for godness' sake Of our police state Cuz they were watching you
Anyone you know Anywhere you go There's no place to run And no place to hide From the Apartheid.

Whenever possible, I'd like visuals pertaining to the lyrics in the music video rather than it all being band shots.
[needless to say, this does constitute being unlicensed music, though I don't know how much of it is protected under the guidelines of parody]

it get slightly redundant... if you're going for the play off of Every breath... work on the lyrics and match it w/ the song tone.

The original does become quite redundant as well-yes, The Police put different actions into the song for what they'll be watching for, but it's basically the same. As for the lyrics, I was reading them along to the song playing in the background (thanks, Dad). Even in the second stanza, it was starting to become a little awkward, since the words and the music weren't matching up. In short, I agree with Aniket on the actions needed to be taken in order to make this better, just not the same reasons.

Can someone mix the lyrics around so it works better?
