Synopsis: A teenage girl goes to extremes to save her boyfriend, who is caught in a hostage crisis.
Details: This will be DMI's first film that may need screen tests. To get the most out of the plot we need actors that can react realistically and put on a good preformence. So I would write up some of the key scenes and do open tryouts for the lead actors, and we would pick the set of actors with the best chemestry.
I am currently writing the script. It starts like any ordinary day at school, and at first would appear to be a romantic film, as we have the two leads meet and after a few days set up a date. Then we get the action. A disgruntled former student and an accomplice will sack their rooms, the girl would overpower one of them in another room, grab his gun, and take out the other one after a brief struggle between her boyfriend-to-be and the former student. We of course would need some fake blood for that scene. They would get out of the school with the sirens in the background, and then for a scene that requires chemestry between actors- they have to generate some raw intencity by desplaying some feelings for each other at the breaking point (The two actors would have to act like they were incredibly worried about each other. This is where we need chemestry- so the scene isn't stilted, or the rest of the film for that matter.)
Like I said, it's a work in progress but I would like to know if I should work on it.

I find it hilarious how ignored this idea is.

I really don't know if I want to have a graphic teen murder on my belt, though it sounds otherwise thrilling.
