Currently I'm trying to find good lights that won't blow out circuits (which is why I've avoided lighting). No, our own household bulbs won't cut it. Both my camcorder and the light meter find their illumination to be insufficient. Time to look up work lamps and stuff. (oh yes, and to add insult to injury, I've been looking at reviews for Canon camcorders. They're great in color reproduction, but they're the worst in low-light situations. So either I start buying Panasonic (not buying tons of new camcorders), or start lighting and getting real quality images) This would obviously mean that rehearsals, storyboarding, and extensive preparation is required. This also means that actors NEED TO ACTUALLY MEMORIZE LINES BEFORE THE SHOOT. I've said this for three years now, and people still aren't listening; I don't say this stuff to turn myself on, I say it because I *gasp* actually mean it.
