This company was the only company to successfully to make unlicensed game for the SNES. Noah's 3d Ark (Wolfenstein 3d makers Id was so mad at Nintendo for censoring their games they licensed the game code to Wisdom Tree to make the game). I saw youtube videos of Noah's Ark 3D instead of Nazis you shoot food at goats. This game company is legendary for its unlicensed games. My brother got a game called Joshua for NES about Joshua except the game should we say takes creative licenses in regards to Biblical accurancy. I am only pointing this out because now if you are interested in unlicensed game trivia you can now play the NES games for free. www.wisdomtreegames.com/arcade.htmlI haven't had time to play all the games but be warned Bible Adventures made the list of EGM's 15 worst games ever and is listed among worst games in other game publication's list. Joshua and Exodus are weird. Bible Buffet is a rip-off of Candyland and Bomberman. From what I heard the best game is Spiritual Warfare (which is a Zelda clone).

I have actually played some of these guys' games long back in the emulator days. From what I remember... yeah, those were pretty weird (if I can remember the ones I played; one of them, I can recall, was a platformer and there was a lot of climbing down to do).
What's funny is that they were actually making some pretty smutty games before they became Wisdom Tree. My guess is, they got caught with it being unlicensed by Nintendo and all, so then they went to releasing Bible-themed makeovers and hence, the bizarre success.

Started playing "Spiritual Warfare", and it's almost shocking how addicting it was. And even moreso that I'm actually learning things in that game despite the Bible education being practically elementary-school level (which just shows how much I need to learn).
And I got penalized for entering a bar in-game-- one of the characters even warned about NOT ENTERING. Nice to see something that practices what it preaches... for once.
