What have I been telling you? I'm finished with this film. (as you can guess, I abandoned the director's cut idea realising that there was no way I could make the film any better and still be a film) I'm NOT re-shooting scenes, I hated making this film as much as I hated watching it. What it remains as is practice for what not to do in future projects.

Hey, I could completly revamp the film for you and you wouldn't need to say much. (on a LFMITU day, preferably...)

You know what- forget it. I'm not reworking this film because it was a bumped up piece of shit and there's nothing that can change that.

Glad to hear about your continuing support for my work, kenny. I'm just going to record a new commentary (SOLO commentary), and done in multiple sessions to try to get as much info in as possible. (as in, I'm going to look over the production notes I posted, and anything that's already in there, I won't record) And that will be the last I'll ever do with this film.
And I'm sure that wasn't your exact opinion of the film before all these scheduling conflicts started happenning.

Sorry about that eric. I'm not flaming your work. Just making a point that FU sucked. I thought AWITP was fantastic.

There was also a vital piece of dialogue that Evan did NOT say, and it was vital to the film. What was the line? I missed that part of the script...

The part where Evan was supposed to reveal his being the leader of the Red Warriors, right before your "You. Me. Outside. NOW." line. In context to the scene, the way it was done was better, but in context to the film's plot, Evan's unread line was crucial.

I think thats implied in LFMITU, cause he's wearing a red bandenna for the reshoot of the big burly brawl.

The point is, the ending in "Fight Ultimatum" was even more confusing because of it, and it's what I wanted in my film. I'm done with it, and I'm not tweaking any modifications to it.

I would rate the movie 3/4. I still haven't figured out what the plot was but the movie was very funny even if it was unintentionally funny. The reason why I rated it so high is because we did the best we could with the resources that we had. You see we have shitty films that cost less than $100 to make while Hollywood still manages to make shit that cost millions of dollars to make!

This is true. Hollywood can make equivillently crappy films for under $3Mil!

...and they've made equivalently crappy films for over $30 million.
Once I've got all these other things off my back, I'll work further on the shortened "Director's Cut" (under the title of "Fight Movie 4"), which gets rid of most of the flashbacks and is less than half the length.
...even if it's only 1% better, it would have been worth the effort.

How about cutting together FM 2, FM3, FU, (-flashbacks) and FM '05 all into one film? Send me the footage and I'll do that no prob! (Unless you prefer to do that yourself, and I still need to finish editing that!) It might hit the 30 minute mark!

I can do the editing for that, thank you very much.
