Bluesabre made me a CD-R of some music he found on newgrounds- he INSISTS it's royalty-free, and a couple of tracks on there I think are good enough to go in the film. (YES, I AM SOBER........ not that I drink or anything, because I don't) Yup; just get permission from the Newgrounds artists- royalty-free, but not permission-free. Best to deal with this trouble right away rather than later. (this is in no way disapproving of the use of NG music- I'm using it for "Visions", so that would make me a hypocrite if I said "no".) After seeing Michael Bay's "The Island", I'm inclined to be more forgiving that it seems to be prominently an action flick rather than a sci-fi, but I still can't help but think they feel roughly spliced together. All of the endings you've provided so far fall under the line of "abrupt", but from the looks of it, this seems to be intentional. The script does look like it still needs to be polished some, but it is workable... except for some of those things you want action-related, which doesn't look like we can work with on our capabilities (I did notice one bit you provided an alternative for).

The alternative is EXTRA work, Eric.

Anyway: Aside from Scene 6, what should I take out of the script?

The question and answer of "why is creativity bad?" I think you already sneaked that question into the first scene without saying it. Remember that a film should be constructed so that the viewer asks the bulk of the questions and is able to find their own answer too. And sometimes asking a question like that makes the writing of titles for critiques too easy. "Why is creativity bad? This movie."

I....... don't see your point. The film's message is that creativity is GOOD, but the people in the film (being the misguided bastards that they are) say that creativity is bad. WHAT SCENES DO I NIX BESIDES SCENE SIX!!!

Expect us to ignore this topic. It's not exactly pressing at the moment and more of your own little project. We'll turn our attention to it when the time comes. So much for ignoring the topic. It's five pages! Wow! It's a gratitous post, sure, but I'm making a point on Bluesabre.

I see you didn't get my point kenny but that's okay I have a different statement to make.
I am well aware the point of the film is to say that creativity is good. But I really have a problem with the villain asking the hero a question. Only in cheesy Bond films do we see a hero and villain have a direct question and answer exchange. It's generally much better accepted when the hero and villain don't talk until briefly before the end. The villain typically launches a series of challenges at the hero, hero beats them or has to retrain and try again. On the other hand if you ask a specific and thought provoking question, something that will challenge people to answer, then you've won. Don't ask "why is something bad" instead ask "why is something that helps me now going to hurt me later on?" basically, never ask an "easy question" in a movie. Also beware of asking a serious question and then playing the answer with frivolous dialogue and generally bad acting. (See: Paycheck John Woo, Ben Affleck)

Quit being an attention whore trying to bump up this topic- every time you give one of these annoying reminders, I feel less and less inclined to read it.
If you're going to say something, say something relevant to the discussion.

Fine. Now that I have your attention, Eric: WHAT SHOULD I NIX BESIDES SCENE SIX??? Funny no one ever responds to that one. Is Scene 6 the only one everyone hates? Aww, but I LIKED that one!

Ok. I want to film the trailer during the break, which means I need some people for this scene: namely Eric (Briefcase Man) Me (Cameraperson) (Dave Malley, CCGK needs someone to play, I'm considering taking the role instead of playing Roger Walker, but I would like to be the latter. I need someone OTHER than Timothy and Phillipe to play the officers here. ) When should we do this?
