All right, "The Suite" is being delayed until the Super Asian Tests (less commonly known as SATs) are finished. Richie proposed reviving this, and I don't think it's such a bad idea.
What a better way to tell audiences Dead Moose, Inc. isn't so dead, then to give them a movie about the undead? We've got it pretty much laid out for us- just need to recruit people, get the make-up and props (Nikolay is going to l-o-v-e this), and set days for shooting.
Let's get this out before HALLOWEEN!

The more I think about this the more it interests me. It would be a final chance to get a Fight Movie right. no just right as in watchable, but right as in fewer regrets. Fewer, because there will always be regrets eventually in any artistic process.
This does compete with Joseph's zombie movie (a little) which makes me a tad edgy. However, he knows we had this idea in the works for a long time and we all stem from the same vine anyway so I hardly see it as encroachment or "stealing."
I will bring the script tomorrow. Which leads me to wonder, should we skip tomorrow's "film club" meeting?
-I will be busy (I shouldn't even be doing this, but my mind strayed so...) until around 8:30.

I've made revisions to the script, but I do think it needs to have a little more bulk to it, as it moves far too fast (a similar problem I've noticed when re-watching the only completed segment of "The Suite" today). More stretches of dialogue and stuff, not in more zombie attacks, of which there are plenty (not a "Fight Movie", really; from what I got out of the script, the attacks are quite short).
Hopefully, it differs enough from Joseph's movie. I want to time this for Halloween release, so let's get this done quickly.

I'm back in black folks and now that i have finished my flea market shopping i have these three weapons (airsoft)
A Sig 550 .223 remington assault rifle
An MP5 with RIS system (looks like a UMP and comes with a silencer, flashlight and laser)
An MP5 PDW (optional stock)

and a Smith and Wesson autoloader
Bring some other full-scale pistols if you have any. And yes all these were bought with parental permission.

A projected timeline for this is:
A script should be completed by Monday. I'm not sure how but it will.
Actors will be recruited Tuesday through Wednesday.
Other written plans (diagrams, storyboards, shot lists) will be made throughout the week and with particular focus on Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Hopefully something will be filmed on Friday and/or Sunday. Maybe the planning scenes on Friday, the forest stuff on Sunday.
Unfortunately unfinished things may be carried into the next weekend although I mirror Eric's hope in that with enough advance preparation everything can be done in one day. I want to complete the script on Monday so that a certified copy can be brought on Tuesday to show to recruits. Casting has not yet been considered seriously so even if you think you have a role it isn't guaranteed.

And are there any plans or means to acquire unusually large amounts of fake blood? I'm saying something on the extent of four or five bottles.
How about sound effects? What about buying a box of extra crunchy KFC pieces and a cheap cut of steak and applying some creativity to that?

Sound effects will be ADR'd [most likely in the band room's "recording studio"]- worry about them later. (as well, some scenes I want to use a technique of sound without atmospherics, so some of the dialogue will be ADR'd as well [just about anything offscreen is open to post dubbing]) I don't see why so much fake blood is necessary, looking at the script. If anything, it really should only apply to the zombie makeup.
Next Sunday is Patty's party- I want to be able to make it to that. Provided nothing happens on Saturday 11-4, filming time for that will be good. Particularly, the forest scenes- get the difficult stuff done with first. The opening scenes in the TV room and armory can be saved for later.

So far the script is around 9-10 pages with more to be added. The film could end up being anywhere from 9-13 minutes. Considering the original was over a minute, that's a sequel nearly eight times as long as the original! And doesn't everyone want the original Zombies, just eight times longer?

Yes!
And do audiences want better choreographed fight scenes and longer fights than the original's mere eating of two helpless stooges?
Of course!
And do audiences want a film that you can actually SEE the blood on a person being eaten, when the first film had makeup that was OUT OF SHOT?
Damn straight!
No disrespect to the original film, but Zombis, if done right, could surpass the original in a crawl.

Intricate fight choreography isn't exactly the most necessary thing of the film- the zombie attacks are all quite short, and I think what's in the script is fine. What's off-shot might also be more horrific than showing the whole bloody gash.
Of course it's gonna surpass the original, if only in that there's actually comprehensible action and an utter lack of orgasm!

XD Right, the summary. You should add that on the boards- the one sentance summaries of our various films (on their respective boards)
Getting back on topic... I can't make a shoot on Friday, and Saturday I might be able to make if all of my work gets done.
