Eric, you need to send me all the footage of me looking through cabinets so I can assemble it into something on Windows Movie Maker. (Include the scissors too.)
I'll also be bringing the script on Friday so we can work over it together.

I just released the "script" for the trailer to kenny, eric, and aniket. The trailer won't be done until tomorrow though because, well, none of it has been filmed yet.
(Actually some of the noises mentioned have been recorded. Printing noises, what else do you think I was talking about, pervert!)

Carpet-loving noises =P
SCHEDULE has been rated as Classification IV for: -some violent content with bloody images -general theme of totalitarianism -one short but explicit scene of bizzare lovemaking between a man and his carpet
Buesabre says: I'm dying! Come on, I'm dying a terrible, gruesome death in the jaws of cyanide!

Alright. So. Filming tomorrow. I have FORGOTTEN (the agony) not to confer with Eric on the script, but that lunch on Friday was club day. Smaaarrrrrtt. So, that said, we'll probably go into another weekend. But tomorrow's filming will happen. I will contact Kevin, and probably Sean, Aniket if he can come too would be nice. Timothy has already told me he'll be busy (and consequently Phillipe because they're doing whatever together, It had something to do with Bomberman Generation) so out he goes. I was hoping to get six people in shot at once. However we'll only have everyone over for twenty or so minutes at the end, so I might as well have everyone over for like, an extra ten, twenty minutes, and kick everyone away. (So that's like four ten, four twenty) That leaves me with my film, everyone can see the footage, share in on some jokes, and everyone still has an afternoon. I'll call about 1, before I leave to bring Eric back to the house.
IN THE EVENT NO ONE COMES: Oh boo hoo. Next week then, more time to film in and around the house.

So I've been thinking. Due to the uncertain availability of actors, and the relative rate of filming, and the lack of preparation that I wanted for this session, I won't have any outdoor filming. That said I should be able to get a lot of stuff done today. Particularly the gory stuff so that should be fun.
Next weekend should be more free, in theory. That means pretty much the entire film will come together. The outdoor segments will be shot, the robot clock and voices will be filmed. On Sunday the film should be edited and the sound mixed. That's next week, assuming everything goes right.
If everything goes as planned then the following week will be dedicated to refilming parts that need actual footage, rather than just a clock. Now I seem to be the only one who really know what's goingon, but that's okay. It's like trying to explain a half finished Jackson Pollock.

So, if I have this correctly, filming at 1-4, like last week?

That said I should be able to get a lot of stuff done today. Particularly the gory stuff so that should be fun. We shot the gory scenes a couple days back. My role in the feature was a short one. After finishing my speech I wasn't needed, so I got to play Half Life 2: Lost Coast. (Which is not on my computer due to an under-powered graphics card.) Damn, was it fun! (A little sluggish on the framerate, though) Perhaps I'll make a topic and a review in the Video Games Section (Included in the HL2 review...)

I'm glad you asked Sean. I will be going around today warning people in preparation for filming on Saturday. But THIS TIME: FILMING BEGINS AT 3:30 and ENDS AT 4!
Eric however Must Come at 2:10 (earlier the better, but no earlier than 2.)
And Yes I do need your Robot voices, so bring your laptop to the shoot. (Rather than having to take extra time to get over to your house. Thanks!)

A few minor changes to the script were made, but they do put the draft as its final form. Kenny pointed out several flaws in his Maintenance Leader block of text. But we already filmed that, it was brilliant, and I'm not going back and changing it. Kudos to him!
Oh, and for Saturday, light, generally neutral clothes are preferred, plus a sweater.
So for example, Kevin might wear something light grey or blue with a jacket. Eric (who will be in shot, but distant from the camera, just to have more people) might wear grey and a kahki, possibly with a sweater if he has one. I'm trying to get the dress as close to my character as possible, but darker for mine, as if he were marked for something in particular.

What's amazing is that we didn't need any retakes! DAMN STRAIGHT!

So today was a brilliant success. Everyone behaved themselves nicely and we accomplished everything we wanted to. Now for a rough cut of the film to be constructed. What we need for that is:
The clock faces, probably 13 minutes of footage (sorry Eric, so sorry...) Check to see if you can get a digital clock screen saver with various faces. Remember many different times, and instances where the minutes tick quickly by.
SKYWALKER: Need those opening and closing credits done by this Saturday. Come on, impress me. And you know you need the experience as well.
The Robot Voices have to be recorded, but they have been typed and tested to perfection. And I mean creeepy perfection. I'll have Sean over for an hour on Saturday, probably around 2. Hit Eric's house by 3:30 and be out by 6:00. That should be enough for next weekend and have at least a third of the film edited. Hopefully more, and likely it should be.
The following weekend will be dedicated to extra footage needed to fill in those gaps, then editing that same day to completion.

On top of the strong progress we've made so far with the film a competition has been instituted between Kenny and Skywalker. They are competing to produce a title sequence for the film, Kenny using HL2's Source SDK and Aniket using Flash. I know Kenny's choice seems a bit off, but it's up to him. Nothing is at stake really, except if I pick whatever Kenny does then Skywalker's out of the credit sequence to what could be our best film. So with that said submissions are due next Friday. . Kenny needs FRAPS, the screenshot-film program to make his film so I'm cutting him some slack because he has to learn it, and Skywalker should have the benefit of a weekend because "he's a junior".
So with that said, Good Luck, and remember... I better be WOWED!
