Nope; selling a 6-minute film for $14 would be crazy. Nearly 3 hours of material should be in this package.

Well, when we get to recording the audio commentaries and interviews, we'll let you know.

Yeah, like the documentary "Guns and Swords." Or commentary...

You've still got the footage- just edit it together, and put "placeholder" title cards where you want interview footage.

Okay. I'll work that up time permitting.

Okay, since "The Mind" is out for G-2 now (or so it seems), there's no longer a reason to split this entire set over 3 discs. It is now going to be a 2-disc set, with material for each disc more evenly split-up. If I get Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 (or 2.0), and I'm able to create Dolby 5.1 tracks, I have those labeled, too:
Disc 1: Inakamichi (Visions), 1.66:1/16x9 The Supremacy of Terrence, 1.66:1/16x9 Code of "Con"duct, 1.33:1 Code of "Con"duct, 1.78:1/16x9 another walk in the park, 1.66:1/16x9, 5.1 SCHEDULE, 1.33:1, 5.1 SCHEDULE, 1.78:1/16x9, 5.1 +extras for respective films
Disc 2: Fight Movie: a pilot (A and B versions), 1.78:1/16x9 Fight Movie 1.5, 2.20:1/16x9 Fight Movie II, 2.20:1/16x9 Fight Movie 3, 2.20:1/16x9, 5.1 Fight Ultimatum, 2.20:1/16x9, 5.1 Fight Movie 4, 2.20:1/16x9, 5.1 The Last Fight Movie in the Universe, 1.33:1, 5.1 The Last Fight Movie in the Universe, 1.78:1/16x9, 5.1 Fury of the Blade, 1.33-2.20:1 Fury of the Blade, 1.33-2.20:1/16x9 ZOMBI!!!, 1.33:1 Leviathan, 1.78:1/16x9, 5.1 Dudes, 1.66:1/16x9 Dudes: part duce, 1.66:1/16x9 +extras for respective films
If the DVD software permits it, I will have in Disc 2 a function that allows "Fight Movie: a pilot", "Fight Movie 1.5", "Fight Movie II", "Fight Movie 3", "Fight Movie 4", and "The Last Fight Movie in the Universe" (16x9) all in that order. Previous plans to include pan-and-scan versions of the "Fight Movie" series have been nixed to allow space for the other films that will now be put on that disc.
The 2-disc set will now "sell" for (I have "sell" in quotes because I still haven't decided whether to make this set a donation gift or not) $8.98.

Okay, got a new DVD burner, and it works just fine with DVD+R DL discs (except the menus of the 2 discs I burned (copies of discs imported from Japan)- everything else works fine, and everything works on my computer, leading me to believe that it's a +R/-R compatibility issue rather than a burner error).
Provided prices go down, and I can get both +R and -R DL (dual-layered) discs, this DVD will probably be a single-disc edition, with everything mentioned here included (or 2-disc; Disc 1 being the movies, and Disc 2 being the soundtrack). The price might increase, though, due to the current cost of DL discs (though it has the convenience of not having to change discs just because you want to watch "Fight Movie II", or "Code of 'Con'duct"). I'm also considering giving four different options:
-DVD-R, 2-disc -DVD+R, 2-disc -DVD-R DL, single disc -DVD+R DL, single disc
All options will include the CD soundtrack. Nearly every movie longer than 5 minutes should include chapter stops (I haven't decided how many per film, though; my very first test with chapter stops had 11 on "Fight Ultimatum" and 6 on "Fury of the Blade" (basically, one a minute)), and all will have optional subtitles.

Shouldent you just round the set to $10.00 US?

Yeah, that's what I might do, or slightly higher, depending on the price of dual-layered discs by the time this DVD finally gets completed.

i say round it to 14.99, just to seem a little more capitalistic...

No, I don't want it to be too high; probably $12.49 at the most.

well, for all the films, etc in it, and the original price of 14 dollars, i thought 14.99 would be welcome
my bad

14.99 is too sadistic in terms of pricing, as it's just 15.00 minus one cent. I find it highly annoying when stores do that to my video game purchases. (JUST ROUND IT OFF, DUMBCUFF!) ........Right. Off the soap-box....... And no problem. 10.00 should cover it, provided we can get people to buy the set.

true, kenny possessed by eric t jones...
10 sounds good, and as i said, it was only with the 99 to be capitalistic, but i said to disregard my nominated price
10 sounds like a good deal, but it will all depend, as eric said before, on the price of the empty DVDs that he will be using
