I'm thinking of releasing a DVD after the G-2 films are finished, so for my films (the ones I'll be releasing, anyway), these are what I have planned-
another walk in the park- -Printed "program" with stills, production notes, character summaries, brief plot summary, and credits -Original cut of the film ("Unrated- The Version You Couldn't See in Theatres (but saw online)") -Censored film festival version ("The kid-friendly version with the unpleasant gory bits removed (but none of the drug references)") -Widescreen (1.66:1) only, enhanced for 16x9 -Remastered animation sequences from new high-resolution scans -New 3-channel stereo mix with re-recorded dialogue and music (original cut only) -Alternate mono mix (original cut only) -Original 3-channel stereo mix (both versions) -Optional English subtitles -Original storyboards for the film with commentary- this is going to be played out like how I pitched the storyboard to everyone before the fim was made (1.78:1, 16x9) -Isolated musical score and sound effects track ("Theatre of Noise") -"Sound Design and Animation"- a short featurette that explains the basic sound design and how the animations were made, as well as the angle to be taken at the upcoming anime version. (1.78:1/1.66:1, 16x9) -Short film "Weight Lifting" (1.66:1, 16x9) -Short film "Ambulance" (1.66:1, 16x9)
Inakamichi (Visions)- -Printed "program" with stills, production notes, character summaries, brief plot summary, and credits (there are no credits in the film itself) -Original online edition -Shortened 15-minute cut for the Monta Vista Film Festival (?) -Widescreen (1.66:1, 16x9) only -Mono soundtrack -Isolated musical score track with audio commentary laced in-between -Three short films directed by "Terrence", with possible audio commentary from "Terrence" and "Claude". (all three 1.33:1) -Short Film "The Supremacy of Terrence" (1.66:1, 16x9), a companion piece whose main focus is the making of "Supremacy". -Storyboarded version of original Scene 44 -Select-scene audio commentary with director Eric T. Jones -Still gallery highlighting the various production design work -Original online trailer for the film (1.66:1, 16x9) -"Inakamichi (Visions) Encore" credits reel detached from film (1.66:1, 16x9) -Optional English subtitles -Easter eggs
The original "A Walk in the Park" trailer and the awitp radio trailer aren't going to be released on the DVD due to using unlicenced music, which I don't feel like removing.
"Fight Ultimatum" will be released along with the "Fight Movie" series, and the only special feature I'll do for that one will be a shortened director's cut (if I succeed in that, anyway; I failed at it three times, and I don't have too much optimism with the fourth attempt).

And what of the planned documentry of LFMITU? We shot a lot of footage for that. (Especially the "sword in the pool rescue" and its aftermath, as well as a commentary on the film [most CERTAINLY recorded in seperate streams, its easier to do, and there would be no awkward moments in the commentary, as it would be mixed.] and the teaser poster gallery. [illustrated by kenny] A "Theatre of Noise" is absoultely out of the question, as there is much unlicensed music and sound effects from video games I own in there. Instead put in something completly different as an extra:[note this is a COMPLETLY ORIGINAL IDEA] a choreographed fight with "Aquifina" water bottles. It would be hilarious.)
Let me know how long the movie's final cut is, if the Evan v. Kevin fight is under 3min, we may need to cut some of "Right Now.
If it's reasonably over 3min, we could put in the "Jungle Strike Theme" music over some portions. Richie actually thought the JST was better than my music choice as it had no lyrics, but since I prevised the entire fight to the tune of "Right Now," the choice was omitted.

As for me
Code of 'Con'duct DVD -Restored, Original Aspect Ratio (1.33:1) -Restored, Director-approved Matted Version (1.78:1, 16x9) -Unrestored-to-restored comparison featurette (NOTE: this is to save space on the DVD for other films. Seamless branching would not work for choosing between the three versions, due to the fact that it's not just how the film is cut that's different, but also that all three have entirely different visuals. In English- it just takes up too much space that could be used for other films. Removing trailers will not save up enough space, and the unrestored version in its entirety is just unnecessary) -Stereo track (both versions) -Optional English subtitles (opening sequence; default option) -Optional English subtitles (entire film) -Audio Commentary with me and Richie -Interviews with different people on the Cast and Crew -The unreleased trailer?

I'm thinking a comparison featurette for "Code of 'Con'duct" between restored and unrestored will more than suffice. (ah, if only the software for multi-angle DVD was available for us; I don't know what the price is for it, though, but if there was software for that, I'm sure it would have quite the price tag)
If we're to release a DVD, I think after G-2 would be best. We already have a whole slate of films coming up, plenty of which should have quality special features. (I have a couple more added to the list for awitp, provided we have the DVD authoring tools capable of it)
Nothing with unlicenced music will be released, unless replacements are made. Which means, kenny, no LFM on DVD. (which is really too bad, since it probably would have turned out to be the best Fight Movie out of the series) As for the planned documentary, I don't know about that. I'm in the interest of saving computer space, so unless I get another hard drive (which would have to be 200GB or more), I don't see that happening.
Due to the amount of films anticipated, I think this would likely be a 2-disc DVD set... as well as a soundtrack CD with originally composed music by Aniket. (he said he wanted to do a soundtrack CD, I figured why not package it with the DVD set once released?)
Aniket, I will allow you to view the 16:9 version of "Code of 'Con'duct" I prepared out of pure boredom, and you can decide whether or not you're okay with this reframing. (if so, then the original 1.33:1 version will still be available on the DVD)

Try installing the authoring software on my comp. It has a GIGANTIC memory. Or you could buy a 20GB external hard drive. (I think those are around $200 now, a bargain, but still a ways outta our budget.)

I'll probably get another external drive and the DVD authoring software- it's going to be installed on my computer, thank you very much. I'm the founder of Dead Moose, Inc., and I would prefer to have the masters with me.
"A "Theatre of Noise" is absoultely out of the question, as there is much unlicenced music and sound effects from video games I own in there."
Unlicenced music is unlicenced music- it applies just as much to a "Theatre of Noise" as it does to the actual film itself with unlicenced music mixed in. As for the sound effects, I don't know if the video game sound effects you want to use are actually copyrighted- I mean, so many games use them... but then again, I wouldn't know.
So far, out of my films, I feel only in the mood to release awitp and "Visions". ("Fight Ultimatum" will be released with the Fight Movie series (whether that's in the same package as these or not), and "ZOMBI!!!" might be released on DVD with "ZOMBIS!!!", if it ever gets made (for now, it's going to be another year-long delay, at least) As well, MrMan might want the "Dudes" films to be released. Specs are quite short-
Dudes- -Widescreen (1.66:1) only, enhanced for widescreen TVs -Optional English subtitles (played as default)
Dudes: part duce- -Widescreen (1.66:1) only, enhanced for widescreen TVs -Optional English subtitles ("Dudeanese" dialogue only; played as default) -Optional English subtitles (all dialogue (English dialogue in quotes))

LFMITU can, and will, be on DVD- but with a different soundtrack. I can play my guitar for the fight scenes that have unlicensed music in them. Perhaps Skywalker could lend a piano accompanyment?...

For now, here are the "Fight Movie" specs-
Fight Movie: a pilot- -Widescreen (1.66:1, 16x9) -A and B versions -Mono soundtrack only
Fight Movie II- -Widescreen (2.20:1, 16x9) -Pan-and-scan (1.33:1) -Mono soundtrack only -Audio commentary with director Richard Davis, editor Eric T. Jones and fight choreographer Kevin Johnson (Widescreen version only)
Fight Movie 1.5- -Widescreen (2.20:1, 16x9) -Pan-and-scan (1.33:1) -Original edition -Special edition -Stereo soundtrack (both versions) -Optional English subtitles (default option) -Audio commentary with director Richard Davis, editor Eric T. Jones and fight choreographer Kevin Johnson (Special Edition only)
Fight Movie 3- -Widescreen (2.20:1, 16x9) -Pan-and-scan (1.33:1) -Original Edition -Special Edition (?) -Stereo soundtrack (both versions) -Optional English subtitles (both versions) -Audio commentary with director Richard Davis, editor Eric T. Jones and fight choreographer Kevin Johnson -Original online trailer (2.20:1, 16x9)
Fight Ultimatum- -Widescreen (2.20:1, 16x9) -Pan-and-scan (1.33:1) (Director's Cut only) -Original Cut -Director's Cut- Shorter than the original edition (and retitled "Fight Movie 4") -Stereo soundtrack (both versions) -Chinese-dubbed soundtrack (Original Cut only) -Optional English subtitles (both versions) -"Funny" translated English subtitles from Chinese version (Original Cut only) -Literal translated English subtitles from Chinese version (Original Cut only) -Audio commentary with the cast of the film- "How NOT to do an audio commentary" (Original Edition only) -Audio commentary with director Eric T. Jones (Director's Cut only)
The Last Fight Movie in the Universe- -Original aspect ratio (1.33:1) -Matted widescreen version (1.78:1, 16x9) -Stereo soundtrack (with no unlicenced music) -No-music track -Optional English subtitles -Gag reel (1.33:1)
...and by some very very high hopes and extremely shitty pipedreams... "Fight Movie 3", "Fight Ultimatum" (and "Fight Movie 4"), and maybe LFM get a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack (this would only affect certain sequences- really, shootouts, and the robbery sequence in FU)... as well as awitp (I don't know how much would use the surround channel, though... possibly 3.1 stereo).

Alternatitively the LFMITU DVD: Full legenth movie (16:9 widescreen) "Conflicts: On and Off the Set" documentery. Gag reel (with our biggest screw ups- I cant get the "WTF when the lights go out" out of my head) Alternate Opinion: a reel with you and Bluesabre's impressions of the film (as you are the most "educated") Alternative Soundtrack for the film defaults to the 16:9 widescreen setup, alternate no music just sound reel. UTIMFL: The Last Fight Movie backwards in half speed and full speed reels. Choreography reel: the most annoying screw-ups for choreography specific situations, as well as the nixed "Reflection" reel (Bluesabres SLAGIATT [seemed like a good idea at the time] watery camera angle.)
Think you can do this, Eric?

What's this about the aspect ratio being 1:66:1 instead of 2:33:1? Did I film it wrong?

LFM was filmed in 1.33:1 (4:3), not 1.78:1 (16:9). If you would like, I can create a 16:9 version once I'm done editing the film (similar to what I did for "Code of 'Con'duct"). This was because the camera's setting was at 4:3 mode, not 16:9 mode. (and in order to get (proper) composition in scope ratio, the shots must be composed for it- every single scope-ratio production I've done, I've always had black strips of paper taped at the top and bottom of the monitor)
I'm not doing the reverse and alternate speed reels, for the same reason I'm not putting the unrestored version of "Code of 'Con'duct" on the DVD- too much disc space is consumed, and unnecessarily at that.
At most, expect a gag reel; what you're asking there is a lot of work. Plenty of the production footage's camerawork is just far too shaky to be useable.
I can do the alternate soundtrack with no music, that's not a problem.

Please do. However, the documentary will be easier since we don't have five or six ADD affected people in the same room doing commentary for the blind. (Guilty as charged.)

I'm thinking of our first DVD release being of mostly all the G2 films (with the exception of LFM- that will go into the "Fight Movie" (a.k.a. "G1" DVD). So, provided all these get filmed, here's what I'm planning out for DMI/OP Collection- G2:
Inakamichi (Visions) Code of 'Con'duct another walk in the park Leviathan The Mind a drunk in the park: a mockumentary on alcoholism SCHEDULE
After all of the G2 films are finished, my main focus will be primarily on this DVD release. These films might have to be spread across two discs, and I want the overall package to be something worth checking out and shelling out $8.98 for (I thought $9.99 would be too much to ask for, so I'm using the US dollar equivalent of 1000 Japanese yen =P ).

Right now, I'm working on subtitles for "Dudes: part duce" with a certain freeware Subtitle Workshop program. Whether this can be added onto a DVD or not, I'm not currently sure. I've also grasped a couple of tools normally used for hacking into DVDs, but I think I can use these to author DVDs of our own films on the cheap. (in plain English: I'm experimenting with hacking software to create DVDs)
If none of this works, though, then I'll just buy the DVD authoring software.
